Last week, the Journey showed this great feature on the Michigan-Michigan State rivalry.

Seeing President Obama speak is something I’ll never forget. Him calling me out, I didn’t even know he knew who I was. It was an honor, though. A lot of people ask why I went to Michigan … in the last month, I was part of a team that won the Sugar Bowl, and I got to see the President of the United States speak on the same field our team practices on. Like our fight song says, the leaders and best.

Expected to start in a few minutes (around 9:50am), the President will be speaking on College Affordability from the Al Glick Fieldhouse on campus in front of a sold out crowd.

Michigan a capella group The Friars sing “Denard Robinson” (to the tune of Simon & Garfunkel’s “Mrs. Robinson”).

Denard and Roundtree in Maize Rage

Football players Denard “Shoelace” Robinson and Roy “Tree” Roundtree dance to The Blues Brothers in the Maize Rage student section during Michigan’s 60-59 win over instate rival Michigan State last night.

As ESPN said, “See Denard Robinson in the stands going bonkers for the Michigan Basketball team? That’s why college sports are awesome.”

Tonight we got to see the rare but wonderful thing: a dunk from Zack Novak.  Needless to say, it brought the house down.

So many emotions, but if I had to put one thing down, I’d say it’s like a box of kittens. Have you ever seen a box of kittens? It’s the feeling you get when you see a box of kittens. You’re excited. You’re happy by it. … It feels all warm and fuzzy. I feel warm and fuzzy.
